HILARIOUSLY, Yomiel was probably the last of the major instigators on the Citizen side to come around to thinking Robin was a likely Communist. Like, Paul and Kimbley were on her ass pretty quick, and Knightley and Simon were like "sounds legit" about it, and then there's Yomiel way back at the starting line like "that kid's just dumb and following herd mentality". Like, his pool of potential suspects shrunk enough for him to investigate her, but the reason he investigated her and not someone else was because she was the one he was most unsure of.
I think part of it was that he just really didn't want to believe she could be a Communist. He's a jerk and an asshole, sure, but unlike most of the Citizen's side big players, he's not a straight-up misanthrope. I won't say he had the most flattering view of her, but he figured she at least meant well. And why wouldn't he? She gave him a hand when he was freaking out over Seryu's body, she was one of the people dragging him off Clay, etc., etc. Though by the end of Day 3, even he kind of had to admit that she wasn't really reacting like he would expect her to. (Day 3 was a major turning point for him in general, and by the end of it, he wasn't really inclined to give anyone much in the way of slack anymore. Killing Anthy, even as indirectly as he did, made him backslide baaaaaad.) Even so, even as he put her name in, he was still half-sure it was going to come back innocent.
AND THEN IT DIDN'T. He had this perfect plan in mind where he'd gun for Bobby and leave Robin for later, but he was just SO PISSED OFF about the stuff she said about Kimbley and at himself for believing it, that when she tried to talk to him he just... blew the hell up right in her face. And then she tried to deny it and throw the suspicion back on him and that just pissed him off even WORSE. Moreso the denial than the counter-accusation, to be honest; accountability is a pretty big thing with Yomiel. His feelings towards her on the last day can mostly be summed up with "SHUT UP AND GO AWAY, I DON'T WANT TO DEAL WITH YOU RIGHT NOW."
His non-reaction to her true gender reveal was probably something like... 60% "Yeah sure why not I was wrong about everything else about him her" and 40% "I thought there was something funny about that brace!" That thing was honestly probably bothering him more than her behavior was....
Also Robin was the only person to survive being investigated by him CONGRATULATIONS, ROBIN.
