Your consciousness blurrily returns as the transport tube your comatose body was stored in opens up, admitting you access to an unfamiliar room. One wall is covered by vertical tubes, one occasionally sliding open to admit another confused person. The wall across from you has a sign saying "PROCEED TO CENTRAL HUB", with an arrow pointing at a red doorway in the corner. The wall to your right contains an unlabeled, dusty, and poorly-lit hallway with blue walls, floor, and ceiling. You can't see the end from here.

Somewhere on your person, you will find a thin, smartphone-sized object that wasn't there before. One side of it is lit up with a red background and a number of disabled menu items. Most of the screen is taken up by another message saying "PROCEED TO CENTRAL HUB".

What is this place, anyway? And who are these people stumbling in through the transport tube array?]

[A shaky, queasy-looking guy ventures forth, carrying a small, deeply disgruntled monkey by the scruff of the neck.]

[ Now that's a face Knightley recognizes. He approaches from behind and puts a hand on Simon's shoulder. ]

[Lets out a high-pitched squeak and almost drops his monkey.]

Oops, sorry. Did I scare you?

Horace, don't just sneak up on me like—

[Like someone who is alive.]

Why are you here?

I-I don't know! How are you here?

Beats me. I was in the detention center moments ago but then I woke up here.

[Apologies for Robin in advance. She is very loud.]

[Pointing at it excitedly, Robin falters for a second.]

Uh, I uh... I mean it's probably really manly to have a monkey, maaaan!!

[The monkey has stopped struggling and started staring.]

He's not? So you're just holding him for a friend or something? Why do you have a monkey?!

[With a screech, the monkey breaks loose and dives for one of those magnificent, shiny arm braces.]

[And he gets a handful.

And Robin starts to panic.]

WH-WHOOA!!! HANDS OFF, MONKEY MAAAAN!

Eeeek! M-Money! Leave him alone!

[Simon moves to grab the monkey, but it drops the brace and tries to climb up onto Robin's head.]

[Oh hey, look, that purple-haired girl also has a monkey with her. He's super tiny, though. About the side of a mouse.]

[Man and monkey alike double-take at your mysterious creature.]

[It's okay, the other monkey is doing his own comedic double take at your monkey.

The girl remains calm, however.]

[Money is offended by this poor impersonation! He would challenge his competitor to fisticuffs, or pawsicuffs, as you will! But Simon keeps a tight grip on him.]

[Her voice is just as pleasantly bland as her expression.]
