Good morning, Citizens! Last night, participant Simon-G-TRO-1 was terminated due to Communist action. In addition, participant Aud-G-CIT-1 was terminated due to system error. There are now $UNDEF Citizens and $UNDEF Communists.

But it's possible! One would be to protect themselves! If you sacrifice almost all of them, it means you get the trust of all the citizens!

Do you forget how the game works? The Communists win when their numbers equal that of the Citizens. Sacrificing half their numbers would just make the game harder for them. It's the fourth day, and the Communists aren't in any better a position than they started in. Worse, actually, if we account for the Indoctrinator acting on the first night.

So if that's my game, it's a pretty poorly thought-out one.

...But it's not poorly thought out, not if one communist manages to get everyone's trust in the long run!

Think about it, man! You helped kill three communists! Everyone trusts you now! You could probably last down to the last two people with trust game that strong!

Let's look at our options--the crazy guy getting stuff done for better or worst, a loud moron, an angry loud moron, a kid, a robot, the guy crying over his dead friend, a guy that's barely been around or helpful, the crazy man that's been getting drunk on algae, Phi, and yourself.

What do you expect me to do?! Just stand up on the first day and tell everyone that I'm the Loyalty Officer? I've been trying to win this stupid thing, and this isn't something you win by being honest!

Apparently not. It's not like anyone has stepped up and tried to defy the computer directly...

How would you even do that? Unless you're actually a Communist and you're planning to test if outing the other two really will get us all killed.
