[It's very rare that Mukuro likes someone, in the traditional, functional sense of liking. But for some people, in her own way, she comes fairly close, and Moge-ko was in that category. Who was she to hold instability and violence against anyone? As a soldier she'd never flinched at being an obedient killing machine, and as (distant) second-in-command of Ultimate Despair she'd been accessory to worse crimes than Moge-ko had ever committed. Probably.

...Still. She's seen a lot of those "almost sort of like" people die. She's killed some of them herself. There's no reason to have a breakdown. Those new rules, though...]

...

We have to kill someone every day from now on?

[on the other end, this guy is semi traumatized, but eh, every kid needs to see something horrible every now and then. he shrugs]

I think it means when the trial starts. If someone casts a vote for a person, no one is allowed to abstain afterwards.

That can't be it. We don't see who voted for who until the trial is over in the first place.

. . .oh yeah.

Then it's not allowed at all, guess we ruined any chance of dragging this out.

W-Why would that be added now? It's only the first trial, if they didn't want us to abstain from the beginning...

[personal profile] in_plain_sight 2014-11-07 03:23 am (UTC)(link)
It was a trap. We'd have been more careful if we knew.

Hmm, I guess that's exactly what it means. And while it seems unlikely we can count on anything like evidence to guide our judgments, we've got something even better: prayer, and a one fourth chance.

...

let me out of here
