[Good morning! The doors unlock at 07:00, the enforced sleep effect wearing off just a few minutes prior. The body will take some time to find this time - because Zolf was hidden in the depths of the Labyrinth!

The Computer doesn't speak up until someone finds him.]

Good morning, Citizens! Last night, participant Zolf-O-DEF-1 was terminated due to Communist action. There are now 10 Citizens and 5 Communists.

Trial 03 will begin at 20:00.

[Friend Computer will remain to answer questions for ten minutes. One hour after the body is found, the usual fleet of cleaning droids will clear up the corpse and surrounding mess.

On the profiles list, Zolf’s full User ID is now visible, and his status has changed to DEAD.]

[Zolf’s body was found slumped against a dead end in the Labyrinth. There is a massive hole blown clean through his chest, and no less than four different knives - and one icicle - were jammed into his head and neck.

The only other damage to the body was a message, half of it carved into his left arm, and the other half carved into his right: “JOHNNY IS AMONG US”.]

[There was a sick, churning feeling in the pit of Robin's stomach as she heard the computer announce a new body discovery. She'd rushed off to the maze, and after several minutes of lost wandering, she finally found where the body was.

She almost wished she hadn't. In all of Robin's life, she had never seen a corpse that messed up before. And considering it was Kimbley, one of the people she could sort of call a friend in this madness, it added just that extra bit of horrible to the situation.

She'd told him to be safe. Why did this happen?!]

[Clay has been wandering around the labyrinth, trying to find the storage closet. He's no good with puzzles or mazes. It's through perfect blundering that he stumbles onto Kimbley's body, with others already around him.]

... Welp, I saw that coming.

[He kneels down and breaks a piece off of the icicle, the non-bloody portion, and puts it over his head. That'll soothe that headache.]

[Dan's actually looking at the corpse today, rubbing his chin thoughtfully.]

Say... Why do you think Mr. Crapshoot AI over there keeps taking these bodies away?

[ It's probably a good thing that Yomiel was planning to explore the labyrinth today anyway. He's not surprised that today's victim is Kimbley--as far as he's concerned, that was implied by the fact that he's still breathing--but when the announcement says "DEF" instead of "CIT," that's a surprise.

Once again, he can't bear to look at the body for long, but at least he keeps his wits about him today. If... talking to a corpse counts as keeping his wits about him. ]

Looks like your attack dog was more of a guard dog, huh? I should probably thank you. Even if you weren't trying to protect me, you've bought me a lot of time I probably wouldn't have had otherwise. I won't let it go to waste.

...Tell Greed hello for me. I probably won't be far behind you, but hopefully I can at least send a Communist or two down first. Look forward to it, okay?

[ He won't be hanging around for much longer after that. He'd like to give Kimbley the full hour-long vigil he gave Greed, but he's got a lot to do and not as much time as he'd like to do it in. ]

[Paul eventually follows the gathering crowd into the maze, giving Kimbley's body a brief look over, then shakes his head.]

[Curly doesn't seem to be doing so good. Mostly she's been avoiding people, except when she comes out to get food. Hey, apparently robots need to eat too. Oh. And apparently they can cry as well. She's definitely got fresh tears on her face. ]

[Once she's acquired a tray of the new ORANGE clearance grub, she sits at a table by herself, looking entirely miserable.]

[She's not really one to comfort people when they're upset, but changing the subject works, right? There's no reason somebody wouldn't be cheered up by delicious Food Cubes.]

[Later in the day Paul can be found in the food sector, staring a bunch of cubes arranged in separate coded groups. Is he lost in thought, or is he just frowning at them, MYSTERY.]

[Beside him there's this thing happily chowing down on both cubes and algae slop.]

[Distraught, Robin eventually went back to the food sector, only to finally discover that they had food cubes now.

Unfortunately, she had no appetite anymore. So, might as well arrange them into little sculptures.

That's what they're there for, clearly.]

[Anthy is also in the food sector, attempting to feed Chuchu food cubes, since the ones that he ate last night were currently lying half-digested on the Labyrinth. She's cut up the cubes into smaller bits so he doesn't choke on them.]

[ Yomiel approaches her, and there's something... oddly menacing in how he's carrying himself today. She was one of the people suggesting he could be a Communist at the trial last night; did he take it a little too personally...? ]

Anthy Himemiya. We haven't talked much. I think that should change.

LATER, IN THE LIBRARY

[Phi wastes no time in the Emergency Backup Labyrinth, and comes across the library fairly easily after realizing the layout was basically the same.]

[She starts looking through the books, noticing that most of everything is blacked out, but then a particularly familiar-looking cover catches her eye. Opening it, however, she finds... this entire copy of Schrödinger's Cat completely blacked out.]

...well, it figures.

[...She'll just take this with her, provided the computer will let her.]
