[One minute after that declaration, Moge-ko’s podium/cage suddenly plummets downwards, into the inscrutable depths. A second later, tiny hatches open all along the walls below, and massive torrents of raging flames emerge. You can feel the blazing heat even from as far away as the inferno is.]

[After ten seconds, the incineration stops, and the floor slides back into place, the door opening once more. There are now eighteen participants remaining.]

[On your PDC, rules 13 and 14 have been updated.]

[It's very rare that Mukuro likes someone, in the traditional, functional sense of liking. But for some people, in her own way, she comes fairly close, and Moge-ko was in that category. Who was she to hold instability and violence against anyone? As a soldier she'd never flinched at being an obedient killing machine, and as (distant) second-in-command of Ultimate Despair she'd been accessory to worse crimes than Moge-ko had ever committed. Probably.

...Still. She's seen a lot of those "almost sort of like" people die. She's killed some of them herself. There's no reason to have a breakdown. Those new rules, though...]

This was going to happen no matter what they did tonight. It just so happened that they didn't accomplish their goal of actually rooting out one of the Communists. What a pity.

His gaze lingers at Kimbley for a moment, inclining his head just slightly towards the door.]

[The heat engulfs Clay and he holds his arms up, trying pointlessly to keep it away. He looks over from his podium at the inferno below with terror and anxiety all over his face... and if someone would bother looking further, they could see a tinge of guilt in Clay's narrowing eyes.

But the moment passes, and the tension eases on Clay's face. His expression returns to one of disinterest.]

I'd chalk this one up to a preemptive judgment. She would certainly have killed someone else later on, so this wasn't in the least a total waste of a vote.

[Robin had never seen anyone actually die before. She'd heard about Professor Courte's murder, and even seen a picture of her corpse once or twice. But this gave that a whole knew meaning. She didn't even know Moge-ko that much, but she was still really shocked.

She was there. And now she... wasn't.]

[ Once they're all let out of the Loyalty Chamber, Yomiel'll pick a random ledge in the Central Hub to sit on and just... slump. He's had such a great day today, from start to finish. ]

[The execution ends and they clear out. Robin find some random space of wall in the Hub and plops down, resting her head in a hand and letting out a weary sigh.]

[With a tired cry of frustration, she let herself fall back onto the floor. Now, her eyes were trained on the ceiling. Maybe she was tracing pattern for her next art piece. Or, maybe she was trying to make a map so she could escape from this nightmare.]

[Anthy goes to sit next to her. She doesn't say anything, but Chuchu crawls over to tug on the sleeve of Robin's tracksuit.]

[After the execution, Greed can be found leaning against a wall, his hands crossed over his chest.

He'd been so certain of Yomiel's theory; the logic was sound. But now they're nowhere nearer to figuring out anything. He doesn't know what they can do about it.

He'll offer a tight smile to those who need it, otherwise he gives a sharp nod.]

[ As curfew time draws near, Yomiel finally hops off his perch and approaches Greed. ]

[ Unlike several people, Rin after the execution looks rather calm as she stands in the corner of the Central Hub, arms crossed as she watches people walk on by. Of course, she'll be there to give her support in any way - whether it be emotional support or magical (she just found out that it was listed in her profile, thanks technology) though there doesn't seem to be any trace of remorse in her expression.

She'll be here for a short while until retiring to her room, but feel free to speak to her. ]
